Department of Academic Management – On the morning of November 24, Ho Chi Minh City Open University held the Opening and Closing Ceremony of the international credit transfer program between the University and Flinders University (Australia).

The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Minh Ha – Rector of Ho Chi Minh Open University and Ms. Petrina Lawson – Deputy Consulate General of Australia in Ho Chi Minh City.
It is known that in 2017, Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Flinders University (Australia) signed the first cooperation agreement on training 1.5+ 2 Bachelor Program of Business and Commerce. Students enrolled in these two programs will study for 2 years in Flinders (Australia) until they complete the course and return to Vietnam.
Currently, these two programs have been training for 3 courses so far. The Opening ceremony was held to welcome the 3rd class and the closing ceremony was to congratulate the 1st class students who entered 2018 for completing their studies at the school.
New Comers of The 3rd International Credit Transfer Program between Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Flinders University (Australia)
In 2019, following the success of the previous two international credit transfer programs, Ho Chi Minh City Open University and Flinders University continued to sign a cooperation agreement for a 2+1 Bachelor of Languages program (major in English Language). ). The 2+1 Bachelor of Languages program enrolls in the first class in 2020 and receives great attention from learners when the program allows students to transfer credits from Ho Chi Minh City Open University to Flinders University later. while studying for 1.5 -2 years in Vietnam.
The admission conditions of the program are students who have graduated from high school and participated in the English language proficiency test or have an IB degree of 26 points or higher. Students will be recruited directly if they have an IELTS score of 4.5. In order to be transferred to phase 2 of studying at Flinders, students need to complete a phase 1 undergraduate program at Ho Chi Minh City Open University with an IELTS score of 6.0 in English and meet the visa criteria of the Australian Consulate.
